This statement explains what type of personal information we collect and how we use that information. The following are specific to Pinball League: The World of Dr. Pickaxe for windows Store (from now on the 'App'). tainicom reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or delete portions of this Privacy Policy at any time without further notice.

 

What kind of information we collect

We collect information that are necessary for the online scoreboard. The App will sync those information without prompting the user. The information we collect are:
- A random unique id that is generated the first  time you run the App in order to anonymously identify players.
- Your Username.
- Your Ranks.
- Scores and the Time they occurred.
- Your Timezone.
- Whether the App is still in trial mode.
- The App version.

Other information related to the web request will be stored in the access log. Those are the same type of information collected whenever you visit a webpage, including the IP address, browser's user agent, time of request, etc.

Those are the only personal information we collect through the App. The App does not use 3rd party components such as Advertising service providers, bug tracking, etc.

 

How we use the collected data

The data we collect is used for the operation of the online scoreboard available to all our users through the App. We don't disclose those data in raw form to 3rd parties such as advertisers and the government unless required by law. We may disclose those data to parent companies and its subsidiaries or 3rd companies that provide us with services that are related to the live scoreboard.
We may publish statistics extracted by those data (e.g. active users) and/or publish part of those data for promotional purposes (e.g. screenshot of the scoreboard). We may also provide those data in a structured form outside the App (e.g. our web site or our facebook page).

 

Safeguards

The collected information are limited to those needed by the live scoreboard service. The service is currently cloud hosted by ViUX Systems, Inc. (viux.com) and you should take into account their privacy policy as well, before you download and install the App. Please consider the open nature of the live scoreboard provided by the App. We strongly advice you to use a pseudonym as your username.

 

Other

Due to the limited information in our possession, we require supplementary proof of identity in order to let anyone review or remove the information we have collected about them. Note that your request and your contact information will be kept in our records.
